Greater Cleveland Pediatrics is a membership-based practice. Families pay a known monthly fee that covers all of our pediatric services. Unlimited visits, after-hours support, forms, in-office testing, and more, all for a predictable, transparent price. No co-pays, no per-visit fees, and no surprise bills!

To be clear, Greater Cleveland Pediatrics is not a health insurance plan. We recommend that all families carry a separate health insurance plan.

Our membership practice pairs well with your traditional insurance plan. Your traditional insurance plan can still be used for services ordered by Dr. Allie (such as labwork, xrays, medications, etc.) or for required medical services that take place outside of our office (ER visit, hospitalizations, specialists visits). Many families with high-deductible plans love our model due to the transparent pricing, and often save money by avoiding unnecessary urgent care and ER visits.

If your health insurance plan offers an HSA or FSA account, you may be able to use these funds to pay for our services. Please contact us for more information.

Your health insurance plan can also cover routine pediatric vaccines provided at our office. Our vaccine supplier, Vaxcare, is in-network with many insurance plans and will bill your insurance plan directly for vaccine services.

While our services are extensive and include all typical primary care pediatric services, your child may have medical needs that take place outside of our office.

GCP membership does not include:

• Visits with any physician or specialist outside of Greater Cleveland Pediatrics

• Visits to an urgent care, emergency room, or hospital

• Any lab, imaging, or medications obtained outside of Greater Cleveland Pediatrics. These would be billed to your insurance as is customary.

• Vaccines. As noted above, our vaccine supplier, Vaxcare, will bill your insurance for vaccines administered in our office. We are happy to verify coverage beforehand.

Dr. Allie strongly believes in vaccines. It’s actually evidence-based science, not a belief! Vaccines are safe and effective and Dr. Allie strongly recommends that all children receive vaccines according to the CDC guidelines. We also understand that some families may have concerns regarding vaccines. We will work with your family to discuss your concerns and individual needs. We do have a minimum vaccine requirement at GCP in order to protect vulnerable newborns and immunocompromised patients in our office. Please reach out to discuss details.

We sure hope so!! Dr. Allie has newborn nursery privileges at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital and at University Hospital MacDonald Women’s Hospital. If you deliver at either of these locations, Dr. Allie will care for your baby during their newborn stay! If you deliver at a different location, Dr. Allie will be in close contact with the doctor who is caring for your baby.

While we do not directly take care of patients who are admitted to the hospital, we will be actively involved in your child’s care from start to finish. We have relationships with the doctors (called “hospitalists”) who take care of hospitalized children at all of the local children’s hospitals in Cleveland and will work closely with this team of doctors during your child’s stay and prepare for a seamless transition home.

Dr. Allie has full access to University Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, and Akron Children’s medical records in order to review the details of your child’s hospitalization.

Birth through college years! We cover it all and tailor care and services to each age group.

Visits in your home are included at no extra charge for all newborns during the first 3-months of life. If your home is more than a 25 minute from our office in Pepper Pike, we may discuss an additional travel fee.

For older children, home visits will take place as needed at the discretion of Dr. Allie, or for an additional fee.
